What Clockee is

Clockee replaces paper sign-in sheets, shared PIN pads, and honour-system spreadsheets with a verified digital record of every clock-in and clock-out — backed by location, a live photo, and a unique on-site code, so the record can be trusted. Staff start and end their day in seconds from a simple phone app; managers get a real-time, tamper-resistant view of who’s in, who’s late, who’s on overtime, and who never showed up. And because it was built for the real world — where staff are often on their feet in places with weak or no internet — it keeps working even when the network doesn’t.

It serves organisations that depend on people physically showing up: schools, clinics and hospitals, factories and warehouses, security firms, hospitality, retail, and field teams.

The problem it solves

Most organisations still track attendance in ways that are slow, easy to cheat, or both:

• Buddy punching. With sign-in books or shared PINs, one person clocks in for an absent colleague — and payroll pays for hours nobody worked.

Verified, not just recorded

The heart of Clockee is that every record is verified. Organisations combine several layers of proof, switching each on or off to match their needs:

• Location confirmation — the staff member must be within the workplace boundary; anything outside is flagged for review.
• Live photo — a real, in-the-moment photo confirms who is clocking in, ending buddy punching.
• On-site code — a unique code posted at the workplace ties the clock-in to that physical location.
• Supervised proxy clock-in — when someone genuinely can’t use their own device, an authorised supervisor can clock them in, with a recorded reason and full accountability.

Because the final decision on whether an attendance is valid is made centrally, the record is one an organisation can stand behind in a payroll dispute, a disciplinary case, or an audit.

Built to work anywhere — even offline

For many of Clockee’s users, offline support is the whole reason they can adopt it. Somewhere with no signal — a basement clinic, a rural school, a warehouse dead zone — staff can still clock in and out normally. The app captures everything it needs, including the photo and location, and holds it safely on the device. As soon as the phone reconnects, it syncs, preserving the original time it happened rather than the time it synced. No attendance is ever lost, and no timestamp is ever fudged.

Beyond clock-in

Clockee covers the full shape of a working day: shifts and schedules with reminders, overtime captured and reviewed properly, and configurable penalties for lateness or missed clock-outs — applied consistently, with room for a manager to pardon a genuine exception. For schools, the same idea of verified presence extends to children: a student-pickup feature confirms a child is only released to an authorised guardian, with a clear history of every pickup.
