What it is

Recido is a mobile-first business-management app that pulls the essential parts of running a business — invoices, quotes, receipts, customers, inventory, and staff — into one calm, phone-shaped place. The pitch is simple: run your whole business from your phone, without juggling a spreadsheet, a separate invoicing tool, and a notes app.

The problem it solves

Small-business tooling is fragmented. To send an invoice, log a payment, remember who owes what, and check whether an item is in stock, an owner ends up toggling between several apps and a laptop — retyping the same customer and the same line items over and over. That friction pushes admin work into evenings and weekends.

Recido collapses it into a single app built for the place many owners actually work: their phone. One shared library of customers and items feeds every document, fields auto-populate, and the retyping disappears. As one user put it: “I used to spend my Sundays typing invoices into a spreadsheet. Now I send them between cuts.”

Who it’s for

Independent owners and small growing teams — cafés and restaurants, salons and studios, photographers and videographers, boutique retailers, trade contractors, and independent makers. People who sell something, get paid for it, and would rather not run their books from a desk.

The six modules

Recido is one app with six tightly integrated parts:

• Invoices — tax-aware, polished invoices delivered as a document, email, or share-link.
• Quotations — quote a client on the spot, then convert the quote to an invoice with a single tap.
• Receipts — log cash, card, and transfer payments with automatic numbering.
• Customers — one profile per customer showing their whole history: quotes, invoices, receipts, and notes.
• Inventory — track items, services, kits, and bundles with real-time stock updates.
• Staff — role-based access with per-user activity logging.

Because they share one data model, a customer or item is entered once and reused everywhere — a quote becomes an invoice becomes a receipt without re-keying a thing.

How it feels to use

The design goal was speed paired with clarity — what the product calls calm grammar: generous spacing, one clear action per screen, and nothing competing for attention. It’s meant to read as a real piece of software, not a form on a phone.
